CUSD

The Privacy-First Stablecoin

CUSD is a USD-pegged stablecoin built on Canton Network, offering privacy, speed, and regulatory transparency.
It enables confidential transactions by default while maintaining 1:1 USD backing for real-world usability.

How It Works

CUSD bridges institutional trust with user privacy.

Every token is backed by short-dated U.S. Treasuries and cash equivalents, held in segregated, bankruptcy-protected accounts.

Privacy-preserving proof-of-reserves ensures regulatory visibility without exposing sensitive positions or wallet data.

Regulatory-Ready

Fully licensed infrastructure through Brale, with 1:1 reserves, monthly attestations, and real-time AML/BSA monitoring.

Privacy

Transaction amounts and counterparties stay private, with selective disclosure for compliance.

Sustainable Value

~4% treasury yield automatically directed to $CC buybacks, driving consistent ecosystem growth.

Programmable & Interoperable

API-ready and integrated across Canton Wallet, Send, Temple, and Canton Swap for seamless transactions.

Trust without exposure

CUSD introduces selective disclosure compliance: full regulatory oversight for authorized parties, complete privacy for users.

It meets U.S. FinCEN and state MTL standards and aligns with EU MiCA, MAS, and FSRA frameworks for global deployment.
